Are you feeling lost, stuck, or weighed down by something you don’t quite understand? Life can feel overwhelming during times of change, stress, or when anxiety and sadness take hold. Sometimes the heaviness we carry doesn’t have a clear source — or it comes from experiences we've tried to push through on our own. Whatever you're navigating, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you make sense of it and move forward with more clarity and support.
Compassion. Resilience. Healing.
Life can feel isolating. Talking about your problems with others often feels uncomfortable. You might feel misunderstood, like a stranger to yourself, or like a burden in your relationships. Difficult experiences can leave a lasting impact, especially when we haven’t had the chance to fully process them. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I understand how complex it can be to carry something that feels both overwhelming and difficult to name. Whether this is your first time opening up or you’re feeling like your past is the only thing people see, I’m here for you.

My name is Emma & I am a therapist passionate about guiding individuals on their journey toward self-discovery and healing. I will support you as you navigate and overcome life’s challenges, fostering growth and resilience.
My therapeutic approach is centered around the transformative power of emotional exploration, understanding thinking patterns, and developing coping skills. Additionally, I incorporate EMDR techniques to aid the processing of past trauma. By leveraging these tools, we will work collaboratively to heal from your past and empower you to grow from these experiences. My commitment is to support you in finding hope and healing.
Originally from Kansas, I moved to the Carolinas in 2019 after earning my MSW from the University of Kansas. Outside of my professional life, I find joy in weekend trips to the mountains, leisurely walks with my dog & family on the greenways, and eating really good food.
I am proud of you for taking this first step toward healing. It is an honor to be part of your journey, and I am here to provide the support and guidance you need.
